Terms & Condition

By visiting, registering, and placing an order on art-gallery.cfac.in (‘the Website,’ you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

General Terms:

The artworks on display on the Website may or may not be in the actual custody of CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) and may be located anywhere in the globe.

All artworks posted on display on the Website will be available at the specified price, with no concessions available to the buyer. The quoted price of the art work includes duties, taxes, shipping, or handling. The final payment address and shipping address for delivery of the artworks will be the information supplied during registration or updated at the time of ordering an item.


The buyer agrees that the buyer is liable for any import duties and taxes that might be applicable on the purchase depending on buyer’s country and location, and such charges shall be payable in addition to the price of the artwork mentioned in the website by the Artists.

CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) shall issue all invoices based on the registration information supplied by the buyer or updated at the time of finalising a transaction, and donations will be accepted only from the buyer who has completed so. If a donation is submitted from elsewhere, it may be returned or cause a delay in the processing of the order until management determines whether a modification from the registration details may be accepted.

Once an order is placed on CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) the buyer is required to make payment for the price of the artwork as well as the charges referred to above within 7 working days from the date of placing the order. In the event that CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) does not receive payment within 7 working days it reserves the right to cancel the order without prior notice to the buyer. Alternately, and without prejudice to the foregoing, CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) may, at its absolute discretion, hold the artwork for the Buyer and charge any storage and insurance costs applicable on the purchase and/or may seek to commence legal proceedings (acting as the agent of the Artist) to ensure execution of the contract of sale.

The artworks will be delivered/shipped to the Buyer once all necessary documentation, relating to transportation, tax, etc. as may be reasonably requested for by CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) are completed and payment has been realized in full including any additional charges. Transit insurance costs will be included in such additional charges, unless specifically advised otherwise by the Buyer. In the event that the buyer chooses to himself collect the artworks from CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) he must do so within two weeks of Masters Collection Art Gallery receiving the payment. In the event that the artworks are not so collected within a period of two weeks, storage and insurance costs will be applicable on the purchase and will be determined at the complete discretion of CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC).

You agree to abide by all provisions prescribed in these terms and conditions. In particular, you warrant that all information that you submit will be true and accurate (including without limitation your credit card number and expiration date), and you agree to pay all costs, charges plus all applicable taxes for the purchases made by you.

CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) is authorized by the Artists to exercise complete discretion in (i) the illustration and descriptions of art works for viewing and sale and (ii) acceptance or rejection of orders received.

All artwork displayed on the Website is supported by an authenticity guarantee from the Artists. Based on this, CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) will issue a specific authenticity guarantee for every artwork displayed on the Website.

CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) is not obligated to provide any physical preview of the artwork either before or after the sale. CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) is in no way liable for the condition of the artwork. Condition reports are provided on request and are based on the information provided by the Artists. In the event that CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) is of the view that there is a significant difference in the physical work relative to its appearance as displayed on the website, an email will be sent to the buyer regarding the difference and CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) will await the buyer’s decision to proceed with the order.

All foreign currency exchange rates used in the purchase are determined using the currency exchange rate in effect on the day the transaction is confirmed. Individual artwork prices have been ’rounded off’ for convenience and do not always reflect the precise currency rate that will be utilized for the invoiced price calculation.

The buyer certifies that all information supplied at the time of registration is true and correct, and that any changes to the information provided will be immediately updated and communicated to the CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC). The CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) has the right to act on the information submitted and to request any further information, clarifications, or verification it deems essential before granting registration. If the CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) believes any of the following information is erroneous, the registration may be cancelled or terminated. However, if the buyer provides information to the satisfaction of the CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC), such registration will be reinstated immediately.
